This painting is entitled ‘Beyond O’Tan’s Gate’. The third adventure of Bek and Kar takes them there.

Two moons orbit the world of Boad. They are called Jeth and Jith. I painted this when I was writing one of the earlier stories, a story most familiar to Bekka and Karro. That swimmer is Sill. Her twin brother, Fiss, is no doubt just out of view riding on their trampoline raft.
